At the Arvamusfestival this year the Estonian partner of Bridge 47, AKÜ, as Coalition for Sustainable Development hosted a two day campaign to promote the Sustainable Development Goals through various interactive GCE activities that provided a fun and engaging way for people who had no previous knowledge of the goals to learn more.

Fingo is organizing a training about measuring change in global citizenship education projects.

The interest was high when Finland, Fiji, APCEIU, Fingo and Bridge 47 got together to organise an event on the importance of Global Citizenship Education at the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF)

EADI is recruiting a short-term consultant to establish a GCE Knowledge Exchange Partnership in Northern Europe, organise events and create a MOOC.

Government and NGO representatives came together to discuss the inclusion of GCE into the upcoming White Paper on Education of the Republic of Slovenia for the 2021-2031 period.

In July SDG 4 (‘Quality Education’) will be reviewed at HLPF. Bridge 47 will be present with events and activities to ensure that Target 4.7 is not overlooked.

The workshop in Bulgaria will critically examine global citizenship education (GCE), as well as introduce innovative methodologies in the field.

The Bulgarian Platform for International Development (BPID) hosted presentations and workshops for some 90 participants over the course of the weekend.
